Our next scheduled events are below.

All experiences qualify for stipends, so please keep track of your time and send us an invoice each time you reach 20 hours! We can provide you with a template, and more events will be scheduled soon.

  • Sat., Oct. 24: Ivy pulling work party at Johnson Lake Natural Area in Portland from 10am-noon, followed by a STREAM~N Team gathering until 12:30. Park near 9799-9673 NE Colfax St, Portland, OR 97220. (2.5 hours)
  • Sat., Oct. 31: Work party at Mount Tabor Park from 9am – noon. Meet at the Visitors Center, located at SE Salmon Way and SE Park Drive (off of SE Yamhill St.). Parking is available in a lot and also along SE Salmon Way. Please sign up at Mt. Tabor’s Weed Warriors page. (3 service hours)
  • Wed., Nov. 4: Oak Grove water treatment facilities tour from 4:00-6:00 pm. Location to be determined. The tour will be followed by exploration at nearby Elk Rock Island. 
  • Sat., Nov. 7: Stewardship Saturday at the ELC from 10am-noon, followed by lunch and STREAM~N Team activities until 1 pm. Help us plant 200 trees and shrubs in the new Smucker’s restoration area! (Up to 3 service hours possible)
  • Sun., Nov. 15: Watershed Work Party from 12:30 pm-2:30 at the Canyon’s Edge STREAM~N Center, 650 Alden St., Oregon City (cross street is Cascade St.). (2 service hours)
  • Sat., Nov. 21: Native plant planting with the Greater Oregon City Watershed Council. Stay tuned for details!
  • Sat., Dec. 5: Stewardship Saturday at the ELC from 10am-noon, followed by lunch and STREAM~N Team activities until 1 pm. (3 service hours possible)
  • Sat., Dec. 12: Litter pickup and wildlife observation at Clackamette Cove, Oregon City from 10:00 to noon. Meet at the “Big Ol Parking Arrangement” (16350 Main St, Oregon City, OR 97045). Learn about citizen scientist Heidi Shafford, Ph.D.’s work to monitor beaver and muskrat populations and test water quality. (2 service hours)
